Photography made with my Nikon D70S and a Tamron lens 18-200 mm. Light, contrast and luminosity corrected with DXO Optic Pro 3.5, and framed with Photoshop 7 Ciao a tutti !!! I want to show you a little serie of Cicadas shots. You know that in South of France, Cicadas are the symbol of the Provence, and we heard their songs during all summer. I really like them ! In the beginning of august, we gone with Magali (aka Laelia) and his son Daniel (aka ElectroInk) in some fields near our house, and their where a lot of Cicadas on Almond Trees, it was really a very warm summer, and the first time I've seen them in this way, very easy for making some photographs, and funny to hear them at 50 cm !!!! This insect is really incredible, with big colorful eyes (these one has blue ones.... lovely !) Now they are all died... summer is going away, but they sing for some months for us (maybe not for us.... but to call the females ;o)))) Here is the first shot of this serie.
