Interesting shot; quite a contrast between what I think of when I hear 'Venice' and what it seems to be like in the back alleys where people actually live. Puts me in mind of a trip an ex-girlfriend took to Paris. With her new boyfriend, and she had to tell me all about it, of course, thanks. Anyway; she sais something like 'it was beautiful and it was also weird and dirty and scary'. Sort of the same thought I had when I saw this.

A delightful scene - comfortable and casual. Clean and clear image. and good strong lines. Nice shot.

This is definetly the other side of Venice. Its much different from the waterfront, gondola scenes but still an incredible place to be. I walked for hours just wondering around side alleys like this one. Its easy to lose track of time there. Very Good Photo. p.s.haha oneeyedave arent ex's the best?
