Great shot. Was fortunate enough to visit the henge a few years back; truly one of the world's most impressive sites. Did you photoshop out the tourists, or just get lucky ?

I built a scale model of Stonehenge back in ... well, a long time ago. :) You could shine a light through and hit the heel stone and cast the shadows just like the summer solstice and everything. And, after all this time, I STILL haven't been able to go to visit the real place. You're so fortunate, Vale, to get to go there in person. Great shot, too! You go, girl!

Oh!! I sooo wanna see Stonehenge in person one of these days. Maybe next year as im hoping to travel around UK for a bit. This is beautiful! Love the ominous sky above. Have a great day. #:o)
