Description


This 16th century bust, originally on the frieze of Longleaf House, home of the Marquess of Bath, Wiltshire, England. Presented to Reverend Noe by Mrs. D.w. Dwelle in 1958. The pedestal is comprised of ballast rocks. Thank you for viewing and for all of the wonderful comments. HUGS!!!

beautiful statue and capture. a hamburger place here that is gone now actually had a statue of Lenin bought by the former crazy owner in Russia.he sort of pictured his self as a soldier of fortune but was a total jerk

Fine photo and POV, Claudialee. All these centuries and the bust appears to be in fine fettle. However, whoever the gentleman was, he has the eyes of a vampire! Possibly, his being trapped in a rock base sends a message to us poor mortals. Ergo, I would keep my distance, especially during the darkness of night.
