Description
First I put a sun there, but then the shadows inside had to be much deeper and the girl would nearly be a shadow herself. That was not my intention. So I removed the sun and tried to repaire the sky. Hmm.. not very succesfully. Now the meaning is, that the sun is much higher. :)))

Thanks Boni ! If you mean what do I look at ? I just use my imagination and perhaps I have seen a window somewhere and then draw it after my memory :)

Ok Boni! :) Now I understand what you ment. I used watercolor pencils. I Like to work with that. I work mostly with Acylic on canvas. My english, you know LOL!! Hope you will read this.

Gosh Helle, these paintings would make awesome cards! Pure beauty, peaceful and it instantly brings to mind myself doing the same thing as a child in the upstairs of our farmhouse:-)And you do this from memory! I can't do that, I have to have the image in front of me, except for mountains:-) Love this!!!
