Description

Had a go at taking some images of drops, splashes and crashes tonight. All I can say is I had heaps of fun doing it:) Thank you for looking. Canon 400D EFS 300mm on Tripod and the most unorthodox setup I could create. If only you knew lol. Michael.

This is really great!!! And it cant have been easy with a 300mm thats for sure. A complicated set-up you say? LOL. In my own experience ive learnt that it doesnt have to be all that advanced to get a decent drop-shot. All i use is a tripod, bowl of water and something to squirt a drop with. I do that with my left hand as i press the shutter with my right. #:o)

Thanks Zacko;) There is method behind the mayhem:) I had to use the 300mm for tonight. I could only find rectangular containers that where to narrow for my other lens to fill the frame properly lol. I wouldnt say the setup was complex, more like hair brained:) Cheers mate! Michael.

haha... now that's a cool shot. I gotta try it someday, thanks for the tips on the setup Zacko. I like the close up on the ripples, very nice for a hair brained setup!!
