Description

here is two photos taken. Not with a tripod and not thinking of the lighting. That why it looks diff colors between the top and bottom. Here you see the set up on the images of the neon painted broken glass I used to shot my last blacklight work. I got more ideals on this and will do them later. I did clean up and now doing a oil painting. maybe my last for the smell in the house. I see what what. I just doing a oil to see how it paints. Wish I did all this when I was young. bUT GUESS THERE A TIME TO DO THINGS IN LIFE. I did raise my my family which would and did come first over art. thanks for looking and wonder and see things diff as you leave my gallery. I know I do not think original but I do think.

Let's put it this way....if Grandma Moses could start painting in her 90's then that should be all the inspiration you need. I picked up my guitar after 20 + years, along with other artistic endeavors....The fact is your doing it now. I do understand what you mean. I envy your studio...psst...secret...when the last one is gone to college....guess what his room becomes!! And its not a guest room. I've always dreamed of doing what you've done here. question.... is that oils on the glass. I love painting on glass..never tried oils though. I love the smell of paint. Did you paint the headboard in the background? That is a headboard in front of the chair right? Judging from them bones, you don't have the rest of it in the cooler do you?? LOL! Hey Jocko....you keep doing what you're doing... you do it so well!!

What on earth have you done to poor Mr Bones? ;) I'm sure glad I do 3D art, I'm not one for messy, but I have noticed the dust bunnies are getting hungrier! :)

heartnsoul -- thanks . The headboard you see is not a headboard. it a painting that would go in a story for looks. I find it in the trash unhurt. so I got it out of the trash and brought it home. I may take a photo of it and post it. That is broken glass with neon paint on the glass window I got off a job that was going to thow it away. I put my camera on timer and put it under the glass window. I painting oil on canves right now. I know oil on glass was painted by big time artists like Dali and Picosso[misspelled]. I saw how a sci-fi artist do his work on glass too and he put electic to it to burn the paint in some places forgot his name but his work is on the 1950-60's sci-fi paperbacks.

Too kool! Jock, most people have skeletons in their closet; you put yours on display! You have inspired me again.... when I have unexpected visitors and my house is less than tidy (most of the time) I'll just say, "welcome to my studio".

...OH YEAH, YOU DO THINK ORIGINALLY! you always help me to expand my vision. I never thought my work was as good as those I admire, but that really isn't the point. We are all different and see things differently. Expression is the point, and you do so in a very unique and entertaining fashion. Thank you for your inspiration. This looks like a fun place to work. Bet you know where everthing is, too!

There is the path of ownership and the Platonic strangulation that kills off the muse. Magic is in order! Let the publicity begin! Let the shares be sold!

Jocko, your creativity, willingness to try things and learn, imagination, great skills, and determination allow you to make vastly superior art with limited space home made tools, and your own cool ideaS. Sure there are people with million dollar art studios. But most all of them cannot come even close to your vivid, fancyful, fun to view, and technically masterful art in multi mediums and made with multiple tools and your own origianl techiniques. I salute you and your art and hope to learn from it, view much more, and maybe even borrow some of your cool and creative ideas. Thanks for being yourself and for sharing your creations!
