Description
The main A9 highway and railway snake across the land which is watered by the River Nairn. This water is also used for the whisky distillery. The patterns on the brown area are from burning heather. This is done to provide new growth which is grazed by Grouse .

Reminds me of the many times travelling to Inverness and the Cromarty Firth when I was stationed in Alness with the R.A.F.
