Description

"There are two kinds of light - the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures." ~ James Thurber

Yet another texturescape from the furniture store. Ray was the first one to guess corectly that yesterday's photo was of a table top of some patio furniture. I guess he used to shop there when he lived in Florida, hahah. Thanks for all your creative guesses! I'd like to dedicate today's image to sharky , for obvious reasons. ----- Thank you for your ferros comments on my last upload, Texturescapes IV - Wrought.

I agree with Margana, it looks like a fancy floor to me. This series is an interesting change of pace and I love how each one keeps people guessing.

This is great, Kort -- sorta reminds me of the 'Ice' series of yours, only with warmer tones. It certainly seems to seethe, that heat beneath the surface.... Terrific abstract!

Wow! When I first saw the title "Molten", my very first thoughts were Lava. Then when I seen the image, its exactly what I see and feel in my lava trips. Your eye and art is just so amazing to capture this effect. Excellent job and Mahalo for the dedi. Aloha.....
