Description

It's a process we all go through It arrives at about the same age This is the world as we know it. There is right and there is wrong. And never the two shall meet. Then we realize that life isn't what we thought. Condemnation and self righteousness begins to peel away slowly being replaced with empathy and compassion. We arent' infallible. Life does happen to us. The age when we begin to look back and realize we aren't children anymore, questioning ourselves and life and our place in it. Then look forward with a certain amount anxiety, realizing we want to leave our mark upon the world. It comes in varying degrees,of course maturity plays a big part. Some walk through it, some live it In the end, its what we all come to know. There are sharp corners with round edges. We have come full circle. We know and understand that to wake in the morning is a blessing in itself. To see the vibrance of nature and the movement of life is the most precious gift He gave. We know that what we have now can be gone without a moments notice. We know that life and all its shades of grey is wonderful.

I sense a bit of Twilight Zone in this. You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension if sight... A dimension of sound... A dimension of mind... You are moving through a land of both shadow and substance... Of things and ideas... You've just crossed over... Into the Michelle Zone... Da..tee..dah..dah.. Da..tee..dah..dah.. Wonderful image Michelle. Great insight. Hugs and stuff from Dave :^)

I was just thinking about empathy. I don't think enough people possess it or have any idea what it is. They are never spurred into action unless things are happening to them. If it is the other, then "oh well". We have become sheep to a slaughter in our complacency and selfishness. Notice the people that throw their garbage out the window of the car as though the world was a trash can and you'll see the complete lack of fore thought and concern for others.....grumble. This is something that has been bothering me for a while now. I wish people would wake up and realize that they have neighbors and there are other drivers on the road and they own a trash can at home. Pffft. I have to stop before I get myself riled up.

Excellent combination of words and art! I believe we all need to grow up and still keep the 'kid' in us. But, what do I know? I thought, by now, that I and Miss Halle Berry would be kissin' all over the place. WINK. T.P.
