Description

This is the view at the top of Piestawa Peak in Phoenix. The view is 360 degrees of the city. As you can see there is quite alot of urban sprawl that has spread out into the desert. The hike is about 2.5 hours roundtrip. I couldnt make it in early summer but after a summer of fitness and getting into shape it was a breeze. Not a great photo I know but gives a good overview of the Phoenix desert area. Zoom much clearer as usual.

Very lovely. Have you been to the mystery castle yet? The view from there is fantasic and the old castle is so interesting - so is the lady who lives there and give the tours. You should take a look as there are so many wonderful things to photograph and the history and construction is awesome. Unfortunately, when I was there several years back, I did not have a camera with me at the time.
