One more shot from the same place as my last two uploads.. I really like these trees..It was pretty warm on the day this was shot..Close to 100 degrees(F)..

I love the sculptural form of the Joshua trees - they hold a similar enigmatic nature as do the saguaro cactus in Arizona. I am trying to determine the time of day from the shadows - either before or after midday? Anyway, wonderful composition and definition, with the intense blue and cloud formation we only see on hot days.

Joshua Tree National Park is a great place to visit in Az. The trees kind of look alien. I am planning another trip there soon. Not sure if this is the park but very nice capture

The Joshua Trees are one of the most beautiful parts of our desert & it does sizzle out there! I don't know how they can tolerate the intense heat!
