Description

The last few days I have been involved in a very vivid discussion on the UF list. Among other things the question if Fractals are "Art" or not was discussed, and the lack of a concept to begin with. I am not going to continue the discussion here, but this exercise in masking, from background to frame has been made to achieve the "concept" I had in mind, just to show that a concept does not garantie art Ed.

I'm highly honored by your appealing gesture, Lil! Further I'm impressed by your mastership in UF, the masking techniques, the shadows we see. etc. The composition is perfect, it's a pleasure to look at!

I am amazed by the skills shown in this image, though I agree with your analysis. Ordering up the symbols of the standard card deck with fractals seems to be a bit of a challenge.

Read the explanation what is a fractal :-) and you see for sure no playing cards or tree,s vase,s,bridge,s and another stuff that are create with masking tools or tools as BringItIn etc etc But the most important part is to have fun and to be creative and this picture is a very good example of that I like it :-) Of fractal is real art that ,s a good question any form of creating is art in my eyes but there is good and bad work Next... anyone his taste is complete diffirent Where yesterday in a musea and a lady say wow that ,s a great cow but the artist say its the door from the barn LOL
