Description

This is a wonderful little bulb in my front garden, all I know is that it is a bearded iris. When we moved in my hubby declared that as HE had built the house, then I could do the garden. I looked at the 100 ft of lovely clay remembered my few plastic fantastic plants at my previous abode and told him that If I planted it it would probably die! Alan just shrugged and left me to grapple with it. So I gritted my teeth and went to a little landscaping course at the local neighbourhood house and wacked in bulbs here, diosmas there, here a shrub, there a rock and it turned out....well...not too bad. I picked out victims that were pretty much plant and forget so most, like this bunch of iris' actually lived (probably to make a liar out of me)! This is 10 years on and most of my home flower pics you will see as I play with the new macro lens that that same (yes he has lasted 10 years with me too the poor blighter) hubby got me for my birthday. This shape of this plant is also tweaking my mind as a shape for a character in my writing....hmmm, multi talented bulbs.... I hope you enjoy. Comments are always welcome, especially ones to improve these macros, like the garden I am flying blind and hanging on as I gooooo! Canon A95 Powershot with macro lens. have a good week. Jenny

Don't think you need much help with gardening or macros. Fine post ;-)
