Description

Yesterday I visited an exhibition of sand sculptures. This is one of them, which I called shipwrecked. Not difficult to say why, I think. The exhibition was about Michiel de Ruyter, a famous Dutch sailor who also fought in many 17th Century wars.. especially against you, you Englishmen.. hehehehe..And now we want him on Trafalgar square too..:-)

What a wonderful piece of work. Real artists at work, and shame that this can't be placed somewhere where time and tide can't take it away. Yes, the arm adds real drama to the sculpture. Great job. Hugs!!!

These are just too darn cool! I admire artist like those sooooooooooooo much. To actually put so much work, effort and time into something that wont last all that long. Im amazed they can muster up the motivation. Beautiful capture of this inpressive piece as well. I hope you have more. #:o)
