Description

I spotted this just off the track, when I went back to get some more shots later on they were gone, no sign they were ever there. It was just a solid mass of bees, no branch or anything around them. The hive of bees was about 4 1/2 foot long to give an idea of how big this was.

Wow is right. Too bad they went away. But, you might have gotten stung. Well done. Aloha

I do not know if I would have stayed long enough for even one capture. man that many bees could easily kill if they are killer bees or not. awesome find and capture

Wow! I have never seen anything like this huge mass of bees before. Kind of wondering if they are following the Queen Bee. Excellent shot. Aloha

Funny hting is, the pollens were so strong and the perfume so sweet I was feeling almost drunk, having to lie down literally and rest just like Dorothy in Wiz of OZ. I had gone to meet my mate and I commented on the perfume in the air and that it washed over me like a wave of happy, and that I was like making a spiritual connection with the buzzing of the bees and all. He looked at me and said, look a couple of feet to your left and you will know why you are hearing the bees. Cheers.

Holy Crap!! I would've been both scared half to death and interested at the same time. Talk about timing. Good thing you didn't get stung. Thanks for sharing with us.
