Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. The intense brightnes of the molten lava must make it a pretty difficult subject for night-shots. Still a very interesting picture you've made here. Hopefully the lava never decides to suddenly speed up...

I can only imagine the heat and danger as I have never been near molten lava. also having no experience in capturing it, the problems. but you manage to pull the cat out of the bag each time
