Description

Panzer group 3 pulls out of the treeline to give fire support during the final offensive known as the Battle of the Bulge, This is a compilation of a previous image I did and the Morning Frost base. I was just trying to keep my computer awake before crushing it with some extra projects this week. it turned out better than I had expected.

Very Nice Image! Looks like it could be Afghanistan in the winter. Today is a sad day for all Canadians as we lost 4 more soldiers in Afghanistan to a suicide bomber. Freedom comes at a cost! May God Bless & Protect the Soldiers!

I can almost hear the rumbling of the engines and feel the shaking of the ground. Nicely done.

The image is excellant. If you intended this to be a historically accurate image of the Battle of The Bulge you will need to lose the BG mtns. The Ardennes, as I understand, is pretty flat. Also you might want to make the sky a bit more overcast: the german offensive was launched under very bad weather conditions, when the allied fighter bombers were grounded. greg

Thanks gwhite, you are absolutely correct. I had toyed with the idea of the weather but went instead with the clear look. I used the Battle of the Bulge story line just to put a reason behind the picture, instead of a lesser known but more accurate story line. (and remind myself to lose some weight) So many smart people around here I can't put anything over on y'all.
