Description

Hi Everyone, Was pleased how this little minor bird image turned out. No tripod, no flash and was done in raw format. Just resized for RR. Chris:)

You show your enormous skill with this shot. A raw shot like this only works with a good subject, a fantastic camera and a skilled photographer behind it.

Wonderful photo of the little guy, Diane! Do they call it a minor bird because it's so small compared to the major birds, like emus? I love the way you do your backgrounds. I assume it's your 100-400mm lens that captures such fantastic effects.

Fantastique photo. I am impressed. Tack sharp focus, great composion. To bad about the front leaves. IMO a little more contrast would take this one to publishing level. Super work.

I think this is a really good capture - almost as if you ordered him in place and told the little guy to pose. :-) Wonderful job!

Nice one Chris they are not noted for as pretty a song I recall the poem: By Robert Frost I have wished a bird would fly away, And not sing by my house all day; Have clapped my hands at him from the door When it seemed as if I could bear no more. The fault must partly have been in me. The bird was not to blame for his key. And of course there must be something wrong In wanting to silence any song.
