I'm a student at Colorado State University studying illustration and graphic design. I am a self-taught modeler. For the moment my modeling is more of a hobby than a career, though hopefully someday soon I will have a job in the field. I model mostly (but not limited to) fantasy and sci-fi models. Enjoy the gallery!BIOEver since I was little I aspired as an artist and can never stop "doodling", either on paper or on a computer. I first started modeling (I use that term very loosely) about 3-4 years ago when our highschool bought Rhinoceros 1.0. To this day, I think I am the only one who ever even opened that black cardboard box.
This website and its wonderful forums have pushed and challenged me to become a better modeler every day. If it wasn't for people like Teyon Alexander (the moderator of the Rhino3D forum) I would never even have come close to where I am today.

Looks wonderful Eric! But please allow me to remark two comments, firstly the pedal looks like it would touch the floor as you ride it.. Does it just seem that way? I mean is it scaled? Other than that? would't it be better if you pronounced the lines on the wheels? maybe with a bump map? Don't mind my pickyness, it is a wonderful model! I don't thik I would ever show the courage to attempt modeling one! Especially not one THIS successful!

Thankyou. The pedal was doesn't even come very close to the ground, must be the angle. It was scaled exactly - from a profile photograph. I'm not sure what you meant about the lines in the wheels. The tires only have treads on the sides of the tire (for grip while turning.)

Amazing bike! I love the details. How long did it take you to balance it like that? ;-)
