Description

Last Saturday we went, as you probably know, to a Dutch province called Zeeland. Zeeland has a direct link to the Sea almost everywhere. The province was flooded in 1953 and more than 1800 people were killed.. anyway.. you can feel the existence of the sea wherever you go.. One of those places is called Neeltje Jans.. Until very recently this island was used for what we call the Deltawerken.. Anyway.. this seal is living there. This particular seal is almost blind..

He is so adorable and content in his world. One of those things about so many critters - they find ways to live with their afflictions and never complain... they are content to just live and breathe and be free. Wonderful capture here with good deal and nice compo.

Great shot of this precious animal. The beauty of their pelts was once the reason why they were so hunted and killed. This one is simply beautiful. Hugs!!
