Description

Here you see the Gulf of Mexico. I know you all thought I show you the waves. I am but this is the wave as it comes in all the way on the sand then as it going out another wave rides over the top of the one going out. And the cycle goes on and on. I could of took 100 photos of this but this is the only one I took at this angel. I took 20 standing up. lol I could not help myself I just look and was wonder bound to this action at my toes. may not even cover my toes. I saw how the wave came in and go as far as it can on the sand. Then it started to go back out and I watch as the wave that may cover my big toe came over the top of the wave that was going out. Wounder bound at the nature of it. If only I can get the engery out of this i could light up the world. But I no scientist not even a mad scientist so I can not do it. But I can be wonder bound by what God put here for us to look at. Yes I do have photos of the waves that you all use to seeing. But look closer and see more Open your eyes like a child and be wounder bound. I just have 200 photos. I messed up and did not bring my battery charger and I have two battery one was dead and one was good. I have two menory sticks too. lol .So all I had was one stick to use. I could have took 2000 photos in three days time. all may not be good but i post on http://morguefile.com/ and I macshack there. So if you need textures or backgrounds that the place to go. I did not load up my galaston photos there yet I been real busy lol this is too long sorry Thanks for everything jock ps i tell you more of my dream to get 2000 photos in three days later.

yep! it looks like old dirty Galveston water. excellent capture Jock. I believe people are working on generation of power from wave motion, I always think of something someone else has already done-well not really because I do not have that much imagination

Great capture of the bubbles and reflections off the water. Nice ripple effect on the bottom of the photo. Water looks kind of oily though. Ocean waves and also clouds are constantly moving and changing so I can understand how you could take a couple thousand pictures.

It even made tiny ripples beneath it in the sand. Three states of matter. Gas, liquid and solid interacting in phase.

Ah, good old Gulf waters, warm and salty. I went to Lake Michigan and expected to walk on a beach. I guess you could call what's there "sand" but it's certainly not what's on the beach in this picture. Great catch, Jock.

Good composition and light; it would have been nice if the foam bubbles had been in focus, but that is very difficult to achieve with rolling surf!
