I'm just a girl with a Nikon D90, who loves taking pictures of just about anything and everything. Postworking my images is 'my thing' .. The main programs I use are: Photoshop CS 5, Corel painter 12. I am currently laid off and seeking employment. I have been in the technical support field for the last 12 years and have really enjoyed the work. Not sure what I want to do now. I think it depends on what is out there and what is available. Competition is tough, there are so many out of work these days.
Anyway! I have been a member at Renderosity since 2004.ÂÂ

head-thorax-abdomen .... so not a BUTT at all :) neat image....he looks a bit nasty :) you can get rid of some of the noise cheaply by using the smart blur filter in photoshop.... go to blur...smart blur...set radius to 50...quality to high...it sometimes blurs to much but thats a good setting to start with

Smart sharpen (CS2 will help) as will highpass filter. I don't know what software you use..PSP does a good job overall and I use both. The shot is nice and the but is framed very well. DOF is a slight prob with getting the subject into focus. Do the best you can and use manual focus when possible. Enough contructive criticism...I do like the shot. Yes, there is a red butt!

I can't believe you captured this little guy. Nice framing and colors. Aloha

I like the composition, framing, color, lighting and subject. I am a fan of what I call "photo-art imagery" as well as traditional photographic imagery. I believe this is a very nice image even tho it may lack some of the crisp clear detail that many a photographer would feel is essential. In my opinion, the artistic treatment of an appealing image can be enjoyable and is worthy of praise even if the photographic capture is less than ideal. This is a well balanced, colorful and pleasingly presented image. I see a successful creation and not a flawed photograph, lol.

Great clarity and detail captured. Awsome

A delightful capture. Eye pleasing and that's what counts.

LOL! Congrats on your new screen....i guess? The best purchase you can make is getting yourself a noiseremoval software like Neat Image or Noise Ninja. If you ever consider printing your photos at a bigger scale, those softwares are invaluable. Beautiful bug-shot once again by the way. Oooh...im soooo late for work....and im on vacation...how does that add up? #:o/

Nice macro, beautiful colors, and good work on framing.

A marvelous macro as always!! I think, the noise is not so remarkable, but if you like, you could try a carefully usage of NEAT IMAGE.

Very nice! I love the way you framed it. I, too, noticed a difference from my old pc to this newer Dell with an LCD screen. After that, I was never sure how others see my images on their screens.

Well it is very artistic, and it is the price we pay for each upgrade, the more we open the window towards the ideal the more the muck blows in!!
