This is my first attempt to capture a dragonfly.
Well, the light should have been a little better:o) Hope you like it anyway.

Hi Eric, well, a nice first attempt. The fact is, when you have for the first time a dragon fly in the viewer of your cam, it bring an emotion, they're still existsince million years and they're so sophisticated biomechanicaly. The story about evolution of species seems to have some bugs I think ;) The light is never good a first time... Don't worry the shot is so cool in his harmony of colors and in his mood. Great shot to me! By the way, I was also on Songramp a few years ago but I did make a choise between music and photography. I wish you a nice evening, G.

I had countless attempts before I ever even got a shot, lol. I had a lot of shots before I got one this focused. The image could be digitally edited to recover a lot of the detail lost in the shadows. Contact me if you are interested in seeing a very simple example. Experience will pay off - so keep at it. Good first effort. Lee
