Description
A bit of a contrast from the last picture. These kind of dwellings sprout up anywhere there is open space. They are built with whatever people can find for construction materials. The corrugated steel roofs are held down by rocks, tires etc. There is usually no running water and there are pipes coming out of the walls that dump raw sewage directly onto a stream, river parking lot, whatever. You almost can't see it here, but if you look carefully at the shack towards the left with the red roof, you can just make out a splice on the power lines where someone is stealing electricity. The wire goes down to the dark roofed shack on the lower left of the picture.
The only reason the shacks do not come closer to my vantage point is that they are right next to a stream and a barbed-wire fence.

Yeah, it's got to be a case of making the best with what you've got, or can get. In some countries that aint a whole lot. It's kind ironic that we have Thanksgiving day, but in reality it should be every day! Thanks for the reminder!!!
