Description

This was taken in 6 photos, then seamless combined to create this 95 degree panorama. This was taken in the Japanese/German Hanger at the Planes of Fame Museum, Chino, California. A few aircraft to point out (left to right): - F3F (Red Nose) - Recon. Spitfire (Under Bristol WW1 bi-plane) - D3A Val (Black nose, in middle facing camera, used in the movie Pearl Harbor) - Small yellow plane is a J8M1 Shusai, which is the Japanese version of the German ME-163 Komet - Directly to the right of the Shusai is a J2M3 Raiden (Only one left in the world) - To the direct right in the back is a Zero, non-flyable and recently sold and moved to another place. - The Zero that's in full view to the far right, is the museum's famous Zero. Used in the movie Pearl Harbor, it's the only Zero in the world with an original engine! It's one of two original zeros, the other being in a museum non-flyable. - Other planes you might be able to catch in this image: V-1 Buzz Bomb, He-162 Salamander, BA 349, and Crashed Betty Bomber http://www.warbirds.n3.net

Right on I knew that looked like Chino. That's only 10 minutes from my house.
