Description

Good morning/day/evening all! It is lovely to be back home and able to post images once again. I have been touring the middle east and I can tell you what a wonderful time I had! My itinery meant that I was on the go all the time and as such I did not take the old snap box but I wish I had. I saw some wonderful images and met some truely lovely people (who were very photogenic) and I just wish I could share some of those moments with you. Lesson leant, I shall take my DSLR with me next time! As such I have no new images to offer so here is one from my last trip. I will be looking through the galleries soon so I shall add my little comments to those with much more knowledge and talent soon. Off to a wedding now hence my inability to do so right now...but I promise I shall. Hope you are all ok and hope you might share a thought for Richard Hammond from the programme Top Gear. He was trying to break the UK Land Speed record for the TV programme when his jet powered car crashed. He is in intensive care now. Many people are calling him and the programme stupid but I think otherwise. He was trying to have as much fun and wild experiences as he could in his life...risks are part of this. Also he wanted to share them with us ordinary folk. I like people like him..not scared to try new things. I am dedicating this image to him as a ripost to those who are naysaying his efforts....try and understand why it is he does these things...live a little and think beyond the obvious!!!! All the best to you all...and watch your speed!!! Rob x I have added a frame and changed the crop on this image.

It is a sad news about Richard Hammond, I love his series on TV. Update pls if You hear more (not every news reach australia, so I rely on you). ppl who think he is stupid have not interested in speed and adrenalin rush or simple jelaous! They can not dare to experience something like he does so this is their reaction. I hope he will be OK!

Looks like our cousin has difficulties concentrating... Love it! Yes I know Top Gear, although I don't know the names of the team members - I like them all. It's the best program around. Sorry for Richard...
