Description
This is a pretty simple UltraFractal julia spiral--but I thought the alpha channel layers on this one turned out kinda neat.
On another note, I have suggested a fractal gallery to the admins at Renderosity, but I haven't heard how they feel about the request. I thought it would be nice to post them in their own home and return the 2D gallery to the 2D artists :o)

I don't think that it's a good idea to have a Fractals' gallery. I like to have my images among the other 2D images...

I agree with Andreas. If I want to post my images with other fractal artists, I know where to go. I like to be in a place where images from all horizons can be mixed.

That's fair and completely understood, I actually feel a little the same way as both of you! :o) However, I've noticed that there are fractal images posted all over Renderosity and not just in the 2D gallery. I thought it would be nice to be able to see all the works together, which would also inspire some more exchange amoung the artists ie: coloring techniques, new applications, formulas and so forth. I know that happens here, but I thought if we had our own home, we'd be more apt to share more frequently! But if the general feeling is "no" on the idea, then by all means, there should not be a special gallery created--I'm all for democracy! ;o)
