Description
Ships and a starfield, nothing fancy. Just some B5 cargo ships I rendered a few months ago.
I think what I liked about B5 the most was that the ships (the earth ships anyways) and stations were designed with a view to practicality. You look at the thing and you could guess at what it was used for or some of its capabilities.
Some trek and star wars ships on the other hand look more like a collection of greebles glued onto an oddly shaped box, nothing to tell the viewer what the damm thing was built for.
Sorry for the rant. Comments are always welcome.

Ok... I confess... I'd prefer to see the commanding officer of Babylon 5 ggg But your starships are fantastic too! I haven't the least idea how you do it but they look great! More than great! You're sure it's no screenshot? LOL

I forget who made this freebie but it's all them, these B5 ship models and textures are made so well they're almost idiot proof to render....even in poser! Hell, for all I know these are actual models from the show released to the public. Either that or someone managed to rebuild them from scratch dead on.

I've never seen Babylon 5 but I always hear good things about it. These look like "just another sci-fi spaceship" to me, but that's not bad. The starfield is well done.

Earth's capital ships are my favourite, some of 'em are nasty mothers. Too bad the series isn't around anymore, I liked watching it. Even though these are only cargo vessels, they are still modeled very well. Nice job.

True..there's a lot of silliness on some of the Trek Ships. I always wondered how the EA ships dealt with turns (can you say precession?..;) But this is good..liked the show..great work here, keep it up.

Super angle, you must be using Poser5, 4 always over smoothes detailed spaceships. A nice tribute to B5 space vessel architecture!!!

Nice do you have a 4:3 or zoom out of that render, the lower part seems like croped i think it's a pity to discard it.

Nice work" uh it never got axed, it was designed as a 5 year saga with a specific ending not a run on franchise like trek became. it ran it's 5 years told it's story and then it's creator JMS went on to other things. it has spun off miniture games, toys, side story TV movies, comics and novels. keep the B5 renders coming!!!
