Description

An experiment with comic art in D|S and Photoshop. :) This started as an exercise in texturing an old PoserStyle V2 jumpsuit as a Dakini uniform. Along the way, I rediscovered how good V2 can look with some DS shaders and MATs applied. (though that original texturing has gotten lost in the cartoon styling). Once I'd created the figure, I decided to use my render as a test for cartoon art, and specifically some Photoshop Toon actions by AdamWright. The result has slightly different action effects applied to the background and foreground. It is not a cartoon render, but a normal render that has been postworked in Photoshop. Argh... fonts, colouring, dialogue! As it's my first attempt, comments and suggestions are especially welcome. Thanks for viewing.

I really like this. Especially the text. It's interesting seeing the similarities and differences between ordinary renders and the cartoon effects.

Lovely action scene and very easilly could become a part of a sequence of renders, or a full comic, excellent work ^^
