Description
This is a Patt & Whitny Wasp Junior nine cylinder radial aero engine, from about 1930. This is one of the great powerplants, and was dropped into everyhing, from Lockheed Vegas' to GeeBee racers. Made from photo refs without any drawings, so not the last word in accuracy! Thanks for looking,
Cheers!

Nine-hundred eighty five cubic inches and four hundred fifty horsepower. Richard Von Mises book has power maps for this engine. Now that developers and fixers are going out of date all over the world it's going to be hard to tax the nostrils to cause an image to come out on acetate. It's good work. I don't think knowing what a Lodge spark plug looks like could make it better. Surface gap spark plugs were ridiculed in the market place until they became ignitors combined with CD another joke perpetrated in this case by Kawasaki. There is a point where you can see the hand tight knurling on a RF shielded ignition lead and compare it with a Cannon plug standard on braided wire sheaths. This is not that point and you have carefully prevented looking deeper by zooming to allow your estimate of the PC video to run it's course. This is the ambrosia of individual achievement. The eye does not wander or glaze over in soul stealing stare.

Beautiful modeling and render. Now you will have to model the 2800 double row for the big boys of WWII.
