The black rose was the daughter of a
Portuguese sea Captain and a seductive former African slave that stowed away on his ship. She learned to be tough at an early age. Her father taught her swordsman ship, and the African slaves in brazil taught her to fight in the acrobatic style of Capoeira. What did she do you ask? Everything! A trader, smuggler, thief, pirate, mercanary, treasure hunter. you name it. Hated by many, feared by many more, The black rose made her mark on this world. To this day, no one
knows what happened to her. or where she hid all
her treasures....

This really looks good at full resolution. Great setup and expression. The lips, maybe just a tad too stylized. Out of all the "lips on steroids" (which can be great) her upper lip looks a little pressed up and back. The map and script is also really great. Often that kind of font can be hard to read but I found it quite legible. Very cool, I look forward to this new series. Best of luck with it!
