Description

Number Five in the 'Under the Skin' series I kept trying to do too much with this one, 'prettifying' it in any number of ways so it would 'fit' visually/thematically with the preceeding images in the series. The first 'final' version was GORGEOUS and retained at least some of the raw power called for by the subject matter...but it wasn't quite right. I finally starting deleting elements and eventually remembered that 'less is more'...DOH! Eliminated everything except the two central models/objects and the necessary lighting, and the resulting starkness is RIGHT. Anger is one thing, but violent rage is an entirely different animal...extremely toxic to the rage-aholic as well as dangerous to all those around him. Ladies, if this reminds you of the man you live with RUN don't walk to the nearest Shelter. Don't stay for one last goodbye or to feed the cat - just grab the kids and GO....love doesn't live here anymore.

You don't know how much your message means to me. hearing that from a man, instead of a woman, makes a TOn of difference. I lived in safehouses with women who felt that they should go back because "He didn't really mean it' I told them what you said, and they never listened. maybe if they had heard it from a man, they would have. I hope this message opf yours is able to stop some woman from making a deadly mistake. Kudos on both the image and the message. And thank you from the bottom of my heart as well.
