Description
Canon 17-85mm IS USM. Post in Photoshop.
Taken on the same walk that i captured "Splendor" the one with the crow in flight. This is a not so photographed part of the course but still give a great view of the course itself and the town. St Andrews if you havent guessed. I shall be at the Dunhill next week hopefully, i may get a few shots of the rich and famous - be the papparazzi for a day or something, tho not sure about being able to do that or if i need a press pass or something :)
Well, this shot was in the vaults because i didnt want to bring it out, thinking i could take some better shots some other time, thing is "some other time" hasnt come, its been raining since :(. So i dug it out and decided to put it up here.
Anyway thanks for stopping by and taking a look (full size is better).
Enjoy!

Wide open and green as far as the eye can see. Wonderful course shot.

Very nice shot of one of the famous double greens at the Royal & Ancient. I walked round the whole course myself in 2003 & was amazed at how friendly everyone was - much less snobby than I expected - even when I started crawling around in the gorse bushes looking for golf balls (hoping to find one from someone famous!). I tried to walk around the course at Loch Lomond & got jumped on by security when I tried to wander past about the 3rd hole! Nice to meet another golf-phile, I better add you to my favourite artists! Cheers, Steve.
