The stags are beautiful. Well posed. The ground cover though doesn't sit as well with me. I love the ferns, but at least in forests of the great lakes, grass doesn't grow much in such a densely forested areay, but those ferns sure do. Regardless... good stuff!

I saw the other image first and put my comment before I saw this one. I really like the lighting on this scene and the grass is a huge improvement. The grass makes a huge difference on that straight line horizon problem, well done! That deer's back leg is still bugging me but not so much, the grass helps. I do suggest that you move the fern on the middle left over to the left a bit more to break up that straight line of ferns if do any more work on this image.
