Columbia, MO. One dog and three cats. After almost a year of quiet I'm getting back into posting regularly.Â
My primary work is done with a Nikon D700, which is the best camera I've ever owned. I do infrared with a converted Nikon D50, and recently learned how to get good results with another D50 converted to full spectrum. Both D50's I converted myself, and it was difficult but not as hard as replacing the shutter.
I've been photographing for 30 years, starting with my father's Canon AE-1, but never got serious until digital came along. Primarily I do this as a hobby but I also photograph events for the organization I work for.
Â
In my photo I'm sitting in the cockpit of one of the 7 P-38 Lightnings still flying. Woo-Hoo!

Very nice photo and a great history on it. Poor catfish... someone ought to relocate it or put another in for company... :-)

WoW it's eerie seeing that ladder going down into the water reminds me of the movie The Ring. And the catfish just adds to the mystery. Cool shot...
