If you think you must justify yourself then you are blaming someone else for your actions. That was my take on it. Your picture today is enthralling. It has a wonderful texture. I like the quote too. Bunny

Very beautiful table, but a little distressing for me. Splendid, if not!
mansco
wonderful depth and colour-play, love it ;O)

Wonderful texture and intricate design. I think the quote means finding an excuse to make ones actions seem acceptable to oneself and others..whereas someone who does'nt justify will take some form of blame for the same actions. Probably means nothing like that but thats my interpretation. Certainly gets you thinking does'nt it Lol!. Splendid work Therese!

very nice fractal and gorgeous colouring. I would probably zoomed in a bit on some of the details - maybe just the upper right or lower left quarter. that is not to take anything away from what you have done here. it's really very good. ;)

nice one T...and yes, you do look good today....

Cool weave and depth..beautiful rich colors and nice lighting. At the proverbial "end of the day," I think Mr. Cayce is correct; maybe blaming circumstances..something..someone. So, in that case- rightly or wrongly, we justify ourselves and our own good or bad actions, thoughts, words..and on. Like, "well, yeah, I'm spacey..but it goes back to when I was dropped on my head as an infant"..so, I now have an excuse to not pay attention for the rest of my life. It's human nature to defend, justify, blame and..try to get out of it- whatever IT is. And I'm as guilty as anyone, but I'm trying to improve. By the way, I wasn't dropped on my head as an infant. I have no excuse. ;~)

The thumb nearly drove me to the depths of Edgar's wisdom. Fantastic work.... As long as humans think with there neo cortex all is good, let that little bugger voice dominate from the ceribal..well heck, you've lost control. ["Thoughts from the thinker" Caroline Brazier] [=

Love you skill with colour. Thanks for yet another really neat image.

your thumbs does not do your fractals justice.if someone passes over the thumb without enlarging they are missing a real treat of fractal art at it's best

I think a lot without ever coming to any conclusions. Perhaps it is the process, not the result, that is the important thing. Are any of us blameless, does blaming others make us bigger or better? All in all we don't amount to much anyway in the greater scheme of things. The guardian of the world can be but a gnat, we are what we want to be irregardless of how others might see us. A dark and entraping fractal, looking up or looking down, who's to say? Fuller used to describe what we call "up" as "out", because it was going out from the center of the Earth. It's all in the perception.

I could get lost in this image...It's so endlessly deep.Brilliant image for your thought-provoking question to us. As far as I know, the term 'justifying' inherently implies the making of excuses...something that most often results in the blaming of one's past or the actions of other's.I won't say if that's right or wrong, but the past is certainly often to 'blame' as it most definately affects our future behavior. As to blaming 'someone else'...I try never to do that.I think if we live long enough,we learn that forgiveness is the only way to survive. All the best to you,Therese.-M :^)

you have been busy, therese! this is great. looks like chocolate. make me something really pretty, with some bright colors. make you feel better! oh yeah, "a weave of my own"! lol. i get it. a league of my own? and, i have a quote also, that i recently read. its from the book, the new sean penn movie, written in the first couple of sentences..."Man is conceived in sin and born in corruption and he passeth from the stink of the didie to the stench of the shroud". nice huh? a real positive guy. i can find no current definition for DIDIE! although i think i know what it is. keep em coming lottalag. your on a roll. russ
