Description
My first bug shot!! Piet tells me it is a false bee. Shot taken with little pocket camera yesterday. I am stuggling with the new Canon Powershot!!! I was amazed this bug did not sting me!! Whilst taking the shot ants go in my boots, they bite me!!! Our South African friends are off to Drakensberg for their weekend trip. May you all be blessed with happiness. the fly mimics do not sting so you can feel more at ease around them. they have a terribly loud buzzing sound but all bark-no bite.outstanding capture of the fly and flower

I hope this signifies the first of a range of excellent macro shots of bugs. You had all the hard work and I the easy part: critisising, LOL! The mountains look beautiful, some even capped with snow, have a nice time on RR while we breathe in the fresh air.

nice shot - shame that all flowers arent as exotic as that where i am :) The powershot is a good camera range - i had an A95, and no complaints there really. Good luck with it, and lets see some more like this :)

Courius fly dresses as a bee feeding in a stunning flower. I think it is a great macro nor easy to do

eh I am late ;-) I recived a minute ago mail that you posted this sweet bee for Part Time Angel ;-) he loves wild cats - he is so brave man - but maybe with bees he isn't so brave - I am not ! I run away, and do strange things ;-) I don't want to have honey(I know you like it - maybe because you're sweet women ;X) and I don't love bees Diane -sorry - little cameras are easy and unfailing, hey ? I know it - we are in the same war Diane = one fight for us = next not, ... maybe one day ...this one is super shot ! Hugs

Excellent capture with your pocket camera, Di Di, and perfect dedi for Piet ! Do you know that the Passiflora is really one of my favorite flower ?
