Description

Beach Pigeon ( uhhh Seagull) and Sunset 2 Thursday the 21st of September was the last day of an Indian summer spell in Holland. It has been a very warm day, also the sea water relatively warm and no clouds in the sky nor on the horizon, only 2 big ships on the horizon. The Sun was gradually turning into a yellow orange ball, sinking into the North sea!! We enjoyed a fantastic sunset and evening on the beach of Katwijk aan de Zee, with seagulls on the beach. Hope you enjoy this sunset series; it is not often that we have sunsets like this on the North sea coast of Holland. What a peaceful composition this is. Seagull-Jesus walking on water....or was it Moses? No he was the one that parted the sea wasnt it? As you can tell...religions not really my "thang" either. LOL. But i do know that this is a beautiful shot. Keep em coming! Have a great evening. #:o)

I too love the texture of the sand and the sea. Love the capture of the trail made by the "gull". And the lighting is perfect:0)

The patterns in the sand from the water are marvelous and you caught them just right in the light. The bird is a good companion to the calmness of the water and dimming light source.
