Description

Two posts in two days, I must be getting addicted! This is the first hole at my golf club in Nottingham looking back towards the tee. The course is a bit flat & boring (it's on the flood plain of the River Trent) so I tried to add a bit of drama here. However I made the classic mistake of doing PS on the resized image not the original, which has added some noise to the sky and lost a bit of detail around the edges. Oh well, there's always next time! Canon 5D, 1/1000s F8 ISO 250. Cheers, Steve. P.S. Thank you for your kind comments on 'Time & Tide' (one day I'll learn how to do a thumbnail & clicky..... perhaps someone will IM me how??!!)

Oh, I like this. The puffy clouds in the sky are great, but I like the mood from the huge shadow, it seems to add some PIZAZ!! Nice work!

Beautiful photo! I love the postwork...multiply? And the way the shadows point towards the flag. Really draws you in. Excellent work Steve! I see Marlenes offered to help you. In the past it wasnt possilbe to share the needed HTML-code in an IM since RR then translated that when you sent the IM...so if Marlenes IM comes out weird for you, let me know and ill send the code in an email to you. Have a great weekend. #:o)

Excellent capture we ready to tee off then ? Reminds me of a childhood finding golf balls on the course at the back of my parents house and selling them to the golfers ;)
