Description

At the Battle of Shiloh on April 6th and 7th 1862, the Confederate artillery lined up sixty-two cannons at point blank range and fired on Union troops. It was the largest number of cannons ever used at that time in a war effort. Can you imaging running through those trees and starring down one of these? Today the cannons still stand where they stood during that battle. All the cannons in the park are original Civil War pieces. Color photo taken early July of this year. Postworked in Photoshop for the aged effect. Thanks for viewing.
