Description

One of a series of pictures of Immature Mesquite beetles I took pruning my Mesquite tree in Tucson in spring of 2004. The Immature tag is indicative of the age, about teenage, in this case. The mature bugs are solid black!

Thats actually their name??? So its not enough for them to be gross bugs...they have to be disrespected as well by having a name that calls them immature? LOL. What a funny little fella, ive never seen anything like it before. Beautiful capture. Have a great weekend. #:O)

Neat bug! Now if you could just turn him into a poser model we'd be cooking with gas.
