You have to stop partying with these birds. Ostiches think differently from humans. It's will all land up in tears unless you change your ways but the photo works really well. Lovely textures. Not many ostrich parties where I am.

Aw!I just absolutely love this shot,Andreas.I think it just doesn't get any better than this.National Geographic quality and pro-looking in every way.As Georges said, this is truly a masterpiece,my friend. You should make sure your ostrich farm-owning friends see this.If they have a website this would be wonderful for them.Once again, brilliant work and sorry about the long shifts and stuff. But just think,in another few weeks you'll have off again,so that's something to look forward to.All my best-M :^)PS I love that little smiley next to your name. How cute!

Andreas, at least you're getting ebots! Mine quit coming in about four days ago, so I don't know who's posting what and when on the site which makes the other contributors think I'm ignoring them. Magnificent closeup of the wise old bird. Those avians can really run when encouraged to do so. I really like the eye, which, on an ostrich, is larger than its brain. I also like the clarity of the hairs and the mouth or bill and is most impressive. It gives the impression of a dour, sour old man. Anyway, if you want to see a bunch of ostriches being swallowed up into the ground by giant arachnids, get a copy of the movie, EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS. Very exciting film and I'm sure you'll enjoy every moment of it.

I have never considered the ostrich to be a very regal avian --- until perhaps now! Excellent capture of this magnificent animal!

I took my picture of our local bird, and it was nothing like this one....such a great shot, and so cleverly done in BW. Makes it more dramatic for me...again your talent knows no boundries...hope work is going ok, and not having any major troubles like the DVD player breaking down or anything like that......pffffft~ Have a good one my friend~ Aloha~

Andreas, This is a true master piece. I have been wanting to turn photographs into chaulk or pencil painting it for a while, but have no clue how to do it. This is beautiful. Do you mind me asking what steps you have taken to get it to this. I wish you great days at work. How many vacations do you europeans take? Just kidding
