Hey People!
I've been so caught up with work(yes, Security Guards do have stress too!) and trying to make the perfect Poser elfwear, I haven't just posted a image for Art's sake in a while. It's funny, when I started this, it was going to be a faery. But the picture just...changed. I've been experimenting with lighting today and this is what I got. The only post-poser (4) work was a simple blur. All the girls are old Posette as is all of my stuff, but with some morphs and altered skin. Now Lady Drac and Frannkie-Bab's hair came from kozaburo at

A outstanding site! The setting is a download but I cann't find the doc to tell me where I got it.
My Wife tells me I make a lot of images using threes. I tell her it's because of the old 'War of the Worlds' moive {I love Greoge Pal!}
Now Lady Drac, I got creative there. Her skin is just a near white, heavy contrast texture. Then I set her skin transparntace at 20%, gave her a chrom shiny map of 10% and used the same bump map I used on the She-Devil's dress. The effect, together with the lighting, is pretty good. Just thought I would pass it along if anyone wants to give it a try. Boy, I wonder if anyone will read this far?
Well, thanks for looking and as always, PLEASE comment and/or rank.
Bye!

Nice. The poses look fine. I wonder what would happen if you put a soft light on the figure in the background and possibly eliminate some shadows on the foreground figures? This may pull them out a bit more.
Forevernyt
Not too bad at all. However if you want some feedback, I'll say this. You have the dark ladies in shadow, but the background is well lit. I would suggest putting the background in darker shadow and maybe add some spotlights up front, low to the ground pointing at their faces. It would give them a much more dramatic look. Lighting is very hard to do, so I hope you don't mind the suggestions. I think the ladies came out very wicked and you're definitely on the right track!

Yes, I agree with forevernyt. Your background is somewhat light but the figures appear to be in the dark. If it were me I'd try to make the background darker and move the figures more into the light. As it is, when your eye first lands on the image it focuses on the background--you want to reverse that. That is the only thing I would change--your characters and their shadowing are excellent! All in all I'd say you're doing very well!

Fantastic image! They are all beautiful! I have to agree about the inconsistancy of the lighting and shadows. You may also want to look at your Resolution setting to get better clarity.

I agree with Forevernyt, the ladies are the focal point, so the lighting in the front would certainly set them off nicely.

Like this one because of the way the eyes make you focus on each one in turn.

Beautiful.
