Description

I've been testing Carrara for some time, but never did any image with it ( excepted for test renders ). I finally decided to complete one and I'm still amazed by the rendering engine. But having the Olympus Mons set and the VA Pitbull car at the same time was a real pain... Strange since such a scene can be handled with no problems in DAZ|Studio... :( 2 lights + Carrara Realistic Sky Still a lot to learn :)

Awesome image JOE. I have the same problem with carrara. Some people can import loads and LOADS of stuff. While me and you can only do so many :P. In daz i can also load lots of models.

Nice composition. Yes, the Carrara render engine is worth the price of admission. :D

Very crisp, clean render. I've had some problems too with stability in importing models. The work around I've found is to load a model into Poser, then import it into Carrara via Transposer.

Excellent scene. You might try creating a separate render of the vehicle and ground with an alpha channel. Render the building separately, too. Then combine them in Photoshop. It will make your scene file "lighter" and probably less of a strain on Carrara. DAZ|Studio is nice but can't render as well as Carrara.
