Columbia, MO. One dog and three cats. After almost a year of quiet I'm getting back into posting regularly.Â
My primary work is done with a Nikon D700, which is the best camera I've ever owned. I do infrared with a converted Nikon D50, and recently learned how to get good results with another D50 converted to full spectrum. Both D50's I converted myself, and it was difficult but not as hard as replacing the shutter.
I've been photographing for 30 years, starting with my father's Canon AE-1, but never got serious until digital came along. Primarily I do this as a hobby but I also photograph events for the organization I work for.
Â
In my photo I'm sitting in the cockpit of one of the 7 P-38 Lightnings still flying. Woo-Hoo!

Ooh, I like this one, it's a fun shot alright. A tiny kitty, but cute non the less. I got a feeling she's going to give you lots of affection. Gorgeous cat, and a great capture!

I can just see him thinking - "I wonder what happens if I stomp on this one!!!" LOL, and that dirty little nose. He has clearly been into mischief and is planning more. I bet that one keeps you on your toes. :-D

Very nice capture - look away for 10 seconds, and she's already written a java script to erase your hard drive.... Excellent!
