This looks very mechanical, kinda like a drilled squigley hole through wood, that left a steel coating behind, it's almost hard to follow the line from one end to the other without the eyes being drawn to other parts of the image, I find this quite unusual (strange) but very natural.

Way to go, Heather! The circular disks (beautifully textured) and the repeating "dots" are splendid! I also like the way the dots seem to either float or give the appearance of transparency. This one's a keeper, too!

If sci-fi existed in the Art Deco era, designers could have produced something as mystifying, elegant and playful as this. I love the tone range and the texture, and the dots are just delightful!

What a cool series, this fractal braid!!! I just love your work, Heather. I love how the backgroud curves mimic the curve in the braid but on an alternate frequency. Gorgeous coloring.
