This is looks really great! Having said that I dont follow cricket either and the season is almost upon us here in Aus. Am glad I'm not an avid tv watcher or it would be a few slow torturous months of viewing here! Fantastic art...as always! :-))))

Now wait a minute....I thought crickets where those little bugs that made noise at night. I guess someone actually made a sport of it. LOL! Amazing and very intricate detailing on this, Calum! I never know what to expect when I click on the thumbnail, I just know it's going to be something clever and painstakingly creative! Even more baffling is the fact it's completely done in ZBrush, render and all! Great to see this from you tonight, and it's always a pleasure to see what you do next! Just keep the snakes away from the crickets, they don't mix well. Laffs Outstanding work, Calum!

Nice work man. You're really getting good at this program. I like the style you're developing too. Its like a little touch of Meats Meyer and a bit of grunge.

When I saw the title of this one, I thought of the insects that appear in late summer, here in the US. They make a lot of noise at night, as David explained. Your image does look like a futuristic cricket player. One that has been set aside for many years and has rusted and gathered dust! They don't have cricket on TV here, but I've seen many matches in other countries, and it's a fun game with a lot of scoring. This image is sensational BTW, and must have taken days to create. Your work with ZBrush is amazing Cal, soon they'll be using your images to promote the program! Huge Fav!

It looks like an alien thing to me... but then you don't see much cricket around here. 8-) Great composition. It looks like a thing that was abandoned centuries ago. Nice mud tones. Excellent job.
