Ash nazg durbatuluk ..... ( One ring to rule them ........) Bryce 4 "fine lines ... running along the ring, outside and inside: lines of fire that seemed to form the letters ... They shone piercingly bright, and yet remote, as if out of a great depth" --- J.R.R. Tolkien My image does not do justice to the above quote - any ideas ?

Remember an every day person could not tell the one ring from any other because it was made to look plain unless it was on his hand....otherwise just smooth out the object and it should be fine

Thanks foleypro. The writing on the ring glowed after it had been put in a fire for a while. I wanted to make the letters actually seem to emit light. At the moment it is a golden outer ring with a transparency map for the script and a red inner ring with 100% ambience. I'll have to experiment a bit more.
