Description
Say hi to "Jack" the Kookaburra. He lives in Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, where I spent most of my day shooting the locals.
If you ever visit Adelaide, try to catch one of the excellent bird shows at Warrawong.
Thank you for looking and comments:)
Michael.

This is one of my favorite birds, related to the Kingfisher we have in the USA. However, the local relative does not "sound off" like the Kookaburra! You give us an excellent picture of this really neat Aussie bird. Thanks! And, congrats for the "last week in galleries" recognition in photo forum. Well deserved. TomDart.
